Education
CCJA’s educational programs are dedicated to teaching, nurturing, and performing the American art form of jazz. Our teacher-to-student ratio is small, allowing for individualized instruction by experienced Mentors and “Neer Peer Mentors” - young professional musicians who provide additional guidance and coaching. Everyone is encouraged to express their own unique ideas while having fun with fellow musicians!
Our adult programs invite musicians ages 18 and up to learn, play, and grow in a supportive jazz community. Guided by accomplished professional mentors, students explore improvisation, ensemble skills, and creative expression while connecting with fellow musicians and experiencing the joy of making jazz together.
Adult

Our Summer Programs bring musicians of all ages together for immersive, week-long classes and ensembles. With age ranges set per course, students can mix and match sessions that fit their interests, exploring jazz through workshops, small groups, and topic-based classes. Whether you're new to jazz or looking to deepen your skills, CCJA’s summer offerings provide an energizing, creative place to learn, play, and grow.
