CCJA Jazz-Kleingruppen für Erwachsene
Im Jahr 2018 versuchte CCJA, einen Zweig der Organisation für talentierte und neugierige erwachsene Musiker zu schaffen, um Erwachsenen ab 18 Jahren das gleiche hervorragende Jazz-Bildungsprogramm der Organisation zur Verfügung zu stellen. Die CCJA-Kleingruppen für Erwachsene werden von professionellen Mentoren mit gelegentlicher Unterstützung durch kollegiale Mentoren geleitet. Diese Mentoren sind alle versierte professionelle Musiker, von denen die meisten auch auf College-Ebene unterrichten, und sie verfügen über einen reichen Erfahrungsschatz, den sie mit Studenten jeden Alters teilen können. Die Denver CCJA Adult Group trifft sich während des gesamten akademischen Jahres (Herbst, Winter und Frühling) in 5-wöchigen und 10-wöchigen Sitzungen im Format wöchentlicher Proben, bei denen CCJA-Studenten und Dozenten gemeinsam spielen und auftreten, während sie Jazzimprovisation studieren. Technik, Stil, Theorie und Geschichte. Sommerangebote werden ebenfalls verfügbar sein. Die Schüler werden ermutigt, sich improvisatorisch und durch Komponieren/Arrangieren für ihre Gruppen auszudrücken bekannte Gegend Jazz Veranstaltungsorte.

Stornierungsbedingungen: Sobald die Sitzung begonnen hat, kann CCJA nur teilweise Barrückerstattungen oder eine vollständige Gutschrift für ein zukünftiges CCJA-Programm anbieten.

Die Spring Small Group Session in Denver dauert 10 Wochen, beginnt in der Woche vom 8. Februar und endet mit einer Aufführung im Dazzle am 24. oder 25. April. Die Proben finden im CCJA HQ-Gebäude in 800 Kalamath Street Denver, CO, statt. Alle Probenzeiten stehen Schülern der Klassen 6-12 auf allen Instrumenten- und Leistungsstufen offen. Wir werden die Schüler je nach Alter und Leistungsniveau in kleine Gruppen von 6-9 Schülern einteilen, die von den besten professionellen Jazzmusikern in CO betreut werden. The Denver CCJA Adult Group is a 10 week course with 9 rehearsals and a performance. There, CCJA students and faculty play and perform together as they study jazz improvisation, technique, style, theory, and history. Each group is directed by a professional musician in the Denver music scene. Students are encouraged to express themselves improvisationally and through composing/arranging for their groups. Beginners are welcome!

Tuition for this session is $365. Rehearsals take place from 5-6:30 or 7-8:30pm at 800 Kalamath.

Kent Denver Adult Small Group
Kent Denver Adult Piano Ensemble
The Denver CCJA Adult Group is a 10 week course with 9 rehearsals and a performance. There, CCJA students and faculty play and perform together as they study jazz improvisation, technique, style, theory, and history. Each group is directed by a professional musician in the Denver music scene. Students are encouraged to express themselves improvisationally and through composing/arranging for their groups. This group will consist of 4 piano players and a drummer, led by director Justin Adams. Find out all the amazing things you can do on the piano!

The Boulder CCJA Adult Group is a 10 week course with 9 rehearsals and a concert. There, CCJA students and faculty play and perform together as they study jazz improvisation, technique, style, theory, and history. Each group is directed by a professional musician in the Colorado music scene. Students are encouraged to express themselves improvisationally and through composing/arranging for their groups.

Tuition for this session is $365. Rehearsals will take place on Thursdays from 7-8:30pm at the Carlson Gym on the CU Boulder campus.
