en Taller de Jazz
El taller CCJA SheBop Young Women in Jazz se estableció en 2017 como una forma significativa de conectar a jóvenes instrumentistas con mentoras profesionales. En la media docena de talleres, jam sessions y programas satelitales de verano que han tenido lugar en los años posteriores, CCJA ha ayudado a construir una comunidad sólida de mujeres jóvenes, mujeres y músicos no binarios de género en todo Front Range.
El taller SheBop Young Women in Jazz está dirigido por la directora Annie Booth y consiste en una experiencia de un fin de semana que incluye: tocar en grupos pequeños, clases magistrales de instrumentos, sesiones improvisadas, talleres de improvisación y una importante y significativa tutoría y conexión. El taller culmina con una actuación para la comunidad.
Taller SheBop 2022
The SheBop Young Women in Jazz Workshop is led by director Annie Booth and consists of a day-long experience including small group playing, instrument masterclasses, jam sessions, improvisation workshops, and important and meaningful mentoring and connection. The workshop culminates in a performance for the community.
The workshop will be held at the MSU JAIM Building at 800 Kalamath St in Denver on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9am-6pm.
There will be an informal concert for friends and family from 5-6pm at Renegade Brewing, 925 W 9th Ave, Denver. A food truck will be onsite, serving dinner.
Open to any instrument, voice, and ability level.
Cost is $125. Scholarships are available for any amount needed.

SheBop Jams are for all female identifying and non-binary musicians to play jazz together in a safe and welcoming environment! We can't wait to hear your creativity and expression!
