A JAZZ CAMP EXCLUSIVELY FOR YOUNG WOMEN AGES 10-18!
Join us for the 2nd annual SheBop Workshop! Open to young women on any instrument/voice of any ability level ages 10-18, SheBop focuses on creating community and connection while empowering young women to creatively express themselves within the male-dominated art form of jazz.
The camp will be led by an all-star faculty of accomplished women musicians/composers including SheBop creator Annie Booth (piano) along with Anisha Rush (saxophone), Kim Bird (bass), Amy Shelley (drums), and special guest from Missoula, MT, Naomi Moon Siegel (trombone).
The camp will include small group and big band playing, masterclasses, jam sessions, listening sessions, and group activities, all in the name of creating connection and allowing for maximum self-expression.
There will be a performance at Old Main Theatre on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:30pm and an additional bonus performance at Dazzle Jazz Club (in Denver) on Sunday, March 3rd at 6:30pm.
Tuition for the entire weekend is $110 and includes dinner on Friday night, lunch on Saturday, and a commemorative t-shirt! Need-based scholarships are available, please get in touch to learn more.

SATURDAY, MAR 2 • 9am-5:30pm
CONCERT • 7:30pm • OLD MAIN THEATRE (CU)
The camp will take place from 9am-5:30pm with lunch provided and plenty of snacks and hang time interspersed! There will be a break from 5:30-7:30pm before the concert in which students will be on their own for dinner.
SUNDAY, MAR 3 • 6:30pm • CONCERT AT DAZZLE JAZZ CLUB
For all camp participants who are able to make this special additional concert, there will be a performance at Denver's preeminent jazz club, Dazzle Jazz. The SheBop ensembles will perform, followed by a performance by the SheBop Faculty! Dazzle has fantastic food and libations. Tickets available at www.dazzledenver.com
