The New Groove Orchestra
Building Musical Connections Through Jazz Literacy and Performance

- Open to musicians grades 6-8 who have had at least one year of basic instruction on any instrument (including drum set, bass, piano, guitar, etc)*
- Great way to continue learning basic music skills while having fun playing jazz, funk, and other styles
- Includes small group instruction as well as full group rehearsals and performances
- Directed by professional jazz musicians, assisted by experienced college and high school peer mentors**
- Invaluable for learning the language of music, listening skills, and creative self-expression… everyone will have an opportunity to experiment with improvisation!

Monday evening rehearsals, 6:30-8:15 @ Summit View Elementary in Highlands Ranch

Fees: $230 (payable in 2 installments)
